It has been a pleasure working with Appointed to Lead this year. They have done a great job curating leadership activities to support the growth of our students where they are. Our students appreciate the activities they participate in each week and how it strengthens their peer relationships. As a principal, I have seen how the implementation of Appointed to Lead's program has directly impacted student engagement in the classroom.

I used to think Leadership was just for straight A students, but now I know that leaders can come from any background. It just takes practice and this seminar has given me the practice I needed to build my confidence as a leader.

This class was a huge step in the right direction for me: I've never had a class like this before—and even though I have been in a leadership academy for over four years, these concepts were still new. It was like diving deeper in understanding what I have been learning since middle school. I really did enjoy this class and hope that others have the chance to experience it.

What I learned about servant leadership is that it isn’t about leading over people, it's about leading with them. This seminar taught me that as a leader your contributions might not always be recognized, but that doesn’t mean it's not worth it because true leadership is about impact.
